  -  Responsibilities

  • Operating a SF-3000 slipform paver concrete machine to spread and smooth freshly placed concrete.

  • Concreting roads.

  • Concreting airport runways.

  • Concreting parking areas.

  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and paver changes.

  • Any other miscellaneous general labourer duties may be assigned.

  -  Main Responsibilities

  • Write / design bids and proposals for tenders.

  • Submit tenders towards achieving a contract.

  • Applicant will have to demonstrate previous evidence of successful bids obtained within the construction industry, preferably at airports.

  • This will be a home based role and candidates will be working from their own initiative.

  • Contracts currently being sought range from £1,000,000 to £5,000,000.


  -  Secondary Responsibilities

  • Edit proposals and related documents for completeness and compliance with editorial standards and bid formatting/composition.

  • Gather information to use in bids process.

  • To carry out cleansing operations duties assigned by your Line or Depot Manager.

  • To carry out jet washing of Airport runways as directed.

We are looking for a skilled and mobile mechanic to join out ream at AUM Construction Ltd; in particular to inspect, repair and maintain our fleet of cars, vans and roadsweepers.

-  Main Responsibilities

  • Works with colleagues or customers to determine the possible source of machinery problems and define what issues need to be solved;

  • Conducts thorough inspections and evaluations of problematic machinery or parts to identify issues;

  • Utilises technological devices to complete diagnostic tests of mechanical and electrical systems;

  • Orders and replaces parts and components and repairs body damage as needed;

  • Performs regular inspections and maintenance on working machinery to ensure proper upkeep;

  • Cleans, washes and paints machinery when needed for proper maintenance;

  • Maintains detailed records of each machine or vehicle, included any maintenance, inspection, or repair services performed;

  • Provides upfront estimates for repairs and maintenance;

  • Budgets for current and projected repair projects and calculates costs for parts and labour;

  • Lowers costs by taking advantage of warranty and insurance coverage when available;

  • Ensure projects are completed effectively and on time;

​

-  Main Responsibilities

  • Setting out the work area, following engineering plans;

  • Using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or mesh;

  • Tying steel reinforcement bars (rebars) to build cages;

  • Fitting spacers, support;

  • Using rebar to build special casts to keep setting concrete in place;

  • Fixing steel to concrete bases;

  • Installing beams and pre-cast slabs.
